HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN USING TRIFECTA CROP CONTROL?

First time user.

WHAT PROBLEM WERE YOU TRYING TO SOLVE WHEN YOU BEGAN USING TRIFECTA CROP CONTROL?

Scale infestation on Meyer Lemons.

HOW WAS THAT PROBLEM AFFECTING YOU? HOW DID IT AFFECT YOUR BOTTOM LINE? HOW DID IT MAKE YOU FEEL?

Besides the worry of bringing ants into the house when I brought the trees inside for winter, I was losing them. I’ve been battling scale for years without success although it would improve during the summer months while the trees were outside. I’ve used insecticidal soaps, neem oil, Bioadvanced Fruit, Citrus & Vegetable insect control (very difficult to extrapolate how much to mix and use on potted plants since it is designed for use on in ground trees) and several other products that I’ve long sense used up and tossed the empty bottles. I’ve spent hours with paper towels moistened with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water wiping the stems, leaves and fruit to remove the scale. Trying to stay ahead of the insects and clean the floor and table top of the constant drips of sticky residue from the plant was taking way too much time. I almost discarded my oldest tree this year, it came out of winter leafless, bare branches and three small lemons but at that point I figured I set it outside and see what happened. The past two months, I’ve sprayed, wiped and cussed to no avail. The scales were relentless.

WHAT OTHER SOLUTIONS DID YOU CONSIDER?

See above.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TRIFECTA CROP CONTROL?

I don’t remember exactly how I found this product but I purchased it on Amazon. It may have been through yet another desperate search on google…

WHAT RESERVATIONS DID YOU HAVE?

After trying all the recommended, name brand, established products with zero success I had little faith this would help. But I figured that I had nothing to lose but more money, lol!

HOW DID USING TRIFECTA CROP CONTROL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM? WHAT MEASURABLE BENEFITS HAVE YOU SEEN?

Once the sun was no longer directly on them, I sprayed both lemon trees, rolling them on their sides so that I could coat the underside of the fruit, leaves and stems, then spraying the top of every fruit, leaf and branch I could until the product was dripping off. Following the instructions, I waited 48 hours before applying a second time. The first thing I noticed is the once brown scale on the underside of leaves was considerably smaller and darker. As I was spraying I noticed that in the run off the scale spots were being washed off the plant! I checked a couple spots that I had not sprayed and they were dried up and barely attached, indicating they are dead!

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS USED IN THE APPLICATION OF TRIFECTA CROP CONTROL?

The spray bottle it came in.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU APPLY THE PRODUCT?

Twice and I can’t find a single living scale on either plant! I checked again this morning!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT THE PRODUCT?

It works. And the fact that it is safe when used as directed is icing on the cake. I have cats and dogs and finding a safe product is very important to me.
